These trees amaze me. They grow to be around 15', or so they say,
and can be bushie in style if cropped at an early age.
What is amazing is their colors.
The early photos, as with the other trees, were taken with an old digital Sony,
but the newer ones are with a DSLR and I'm sure you will like.

I can barely wait for the fall colors to get here!

I don't have much for the first (2007) comparison photos,
but have left empty slots for the second year shots yet to come
.

When you do, newer browsers resize photos "to fit". If you see a magnifier with a + as you scroll over a photo,
click on it to see the real size. The photos are sized for a 1024x768 resolution.

I planted the 5th and 6th Amurs
Oct 11th, 2008.
They came in from Oklahoma
(Sooner Plant Farms) starting
dormancy, so as you see, only half
their leaves were still green.
And besides, a plant farm isn't able
to take the care a homeowner will.

6th Amur

These two trees are planted semi in line
with the second Japanese Maple
in an effort to create a wall between the
windows of the commercial
property next door and my
back porch.
